Inter Valley Health continues for me to bring classes of Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga™ to Valley residents free of charge.
If you're interested in "Getting Fit Where You Sit," join us at one of their Vitality Centers in Palm Springs or La Quinta for an hour that is both fun and good for you.
We continue meeting on alternate Tuesdays. For this May, classes in Palm Springs are at 11:30 a.m. on the 8th and the 22th, and in La Quinta at 12:30 p.m. on the 15th and 29th.

A bit more about Chair Yoga
Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga™ is based on the classical yoga postures and breathing techniques. But modernized and modified by Lakshmi Voelker to be done while seated, Chair Yoga now makes yoga's health and fitness benefits available to everyone.

About Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga™
LAKSHMI VOELKER CHAIR YOGA lets you "Get Fit Where You Sit." It offers all the health benefits of yoga, but is practiced while seated in a chair. Developed for all ages and fitness levels, Chair Yoga is safe and fun. And for a bit more of a workout, you might even try it with one- or two-pound weights.

Vinyasa Flow at Go with the Flow Yoga Studio
AT GO WITH THE FLOW YOGA STUDIO my public class of Vinyasa Flow yoga will give you a workout. This class offers variety, with routines including Sun Salutations and much more. Whether fast-paced or slow, expect Vinyasa's unbroken flow of breath-synchronized movement from pose to pose to become like a dance.

What to expect in my classes
MY CLASSES ARE APPROPRIATE FOR EVERYONE, from beginners to long-time practioners. They are small enough that I can address each student's needs.
WE TYPICALLY BEGIN OUR YOGA CLASSES with breathing exercises. We move on to stretches and poses protecting and strengthening our body's core. Then, we can work on something as simple as a stiff neck or help with a difficult pose. Finally, after a session of an hour or so, we cool down with a bit of meditative relaxation.
