Yoga in the desert for everyone

Yoga and sports

Everyone active in sports can use my classes as one of the basic training tools to help improve their game.

Yoga provides both physical and psychological benefits, including increased strength, flexibility, balance, and reaction time, along with mental relaxation, self-mastery, and focus.

Physically, both golfers and tennis players will find their strokes having new power, speed, and consistency for better play. Skiers, too, will have far safer and more enjoyable days on the slopes.

Psychologically, all sportsmen (and women, too!) will improve their mental control and concentration for more relaxed and enjoyable times.

In my classes and sessions I address your individual needs to ensure success.

Prepare your body and mind for a more enjoyable time. That is why you're out there, isn't it?

Testimonials

HERE ARE A FEW TESTIMONIALS to both the benefits of yoga and the effectiveness of my teaching:

"Thank you for all your effort, skill and kind help over the past year. My yoga skills (and my back) have certainly benefitted."

— Roberta

"I have been attending Marnell's early morning yoga class for about six months now and absolutely adore her teaching style. She is one of the few yoga teachers who truly takes an interest in her students on an individual basis. She has been an integral part of the continuing healing process that my body has been undergoing for many years. I feel blessed to have found her."

— Tracy

"Thank you for all your help and patience. You are a good teacher. I feel so much better since starting your yoga class. I will truly miss this class with you as our instructor."

— Laurie

"It has been such a blessing to be your student and to share my Wednesday mornings with you and those other special ladies."

— Julie

"Marnell's yoga was a major factor, and perhaps the major factor, that brought so much strength back to my right hip after it was replaced a couple years ago. As a result, I am back to climbing mountains and have added a rank to my black belt in aikido...."
